Baxter was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma in the summer of 2015. After surgery to remove his spleen, he wasn't returning to his usual self and it was suggested that a puppy would help. This is when CavPup (Jack) joined us. Baxter died on October 3, 2015. He was a very good dog!
Peabody is the building, Jack is the dog, and I'm Dean J (she/her, btw).

About CavDog
CavDog (Baxter, born June 28, 2007) made his blog debut in a post about Trick-or-Treating on the Lawn on November 2, 2007. He soon became fixture on the blog. He loved everyone he met and was especially happy spending time with UVA students and their little siblings.
